  • Strasbourg, France in November, 2002: Being invited by the European Space Agency (Eurisy), presented a paper entitled “Remote Sensing and GIS application in identification of Conservation sites in Urban Planning”.

  • Kualalumpur, Malaysia, , 2002 scheduled in October, 2002: Contributed a paper entitled “Municipal Management and Urban governance: Case study: Calcutta Metropolitan Area”,  and the ‘Abstract, CV and the full paper was very much appreciated’  and was  duly invited for presentation  in the 18th EAROPH World Planning Congress of Eastern Regional Organisation for Planning and Housing (EAROPH).

  • Manila, Philippines, Scheduled in November 2000: Contributed a paper entitled “Megacity Management :Calcutta Case Study” for the Conference on Megacity Management: 21st Century Challenges and opportunities organised by the FAR Eastern University  Centre for Studies on the Urban Environment (FEU -SURE) and was invited to participate as a panel speaker in the Panel on GOVERNANCE.
