Training, Capacity Building and Academic activities

  • Started and executed one and half year long Associate of Institute of Town Planners (AITP), equivalent to Masters in Urban Planning as Course Coordinator. The course is recognized by Institute of Town Planner India & facilitated by the Change Management Unit (KUSP), Municipal Affairs Department, Government of WB. 30 students are enrolled presently.

  • Executed more than 50 courses for the municipal elected representatives and functionaries from 125 urban local bodies in West Bengal.

  • Was instrumental in capacity building in Kolkata Municipal Corporation by providing training support for the middle management (Assistant Managers and Deputy Managers).

  • Initiated planning of non Municipal Urban areas and urban CD blocks in the state.
