Thorough
dusting and cleaning with phenyle (Phytofresh) and spraying of
anti-mosquito spray “Phytomos” of the entire mosaic floor of
Main office building, library building, Executive wing building,
Guest House and the Hostel rooms. The floor includes the
pa
ssage, the stairs, the office chambers, the classrooms, the
office room and the computer lab and entire floor area of the
library and annexe building (once a day on all working days
before 9:45 a.m.). If any programme is held on holidays,
the concerned areas should be dusted and cleaned as indicated
above.

To
wash and clean all the toilets in the above mentioned buildings
with acid and phenyle (twice a day on all working days
forenoon & afternoon).
-
Putting
deodorant (e.g Odonil/ naphthalene) – 6 pcs in each urinal
sink points, which must be changed once in a week.
-
Two
large size odonils to be placed in each toilet to be changed,
once in a month.
-
To
dust and clear the entire furniture in the office, annexe
building, library and classrooms, office chambers of officers
daily before 9:30 a.m. on all working days and also reorient the
furniture in the class room as and when required.

To
dust and clean with wet cloth the glass fittings of the
building, the windows, the electrical fittings like fan, bulbs,
tube lights of main building/ annexe building/ library building
etc. – once a fortnight.
-
To
clean the brass and metal fittings with required chemicals –
once in a week where necessary, to remove stains.
-
Thorough
washing by water flow with floor cleaner e.g Lysol of the floor
of the main building, annexe building, library building, stairs
& toilets – (once in a week) after the office hours.
-
To
sweep all the ro
ad
s and
ad
jacent areas keeping
pa
thways de-weeded around the main building/ annexe building/
library building, areas around the hostel, officers’ quarters,
staff quarters and throw the garbage outside the campus in the
Munici
pa
l Vats – (once daily).
-
To
clean the roofs of the main building/ annexe building/ library
building once a week so that no dust/ garbage gather on the roof
and to close the face of the pipelines and also to uproot plants
growing on and around the roof.
-
Maintenance
of ornamental indoor plants in clay pots with fertilizers/
pesticides/ insecticides and red-oxide
pa
inting of the plant pots – (once in a month). Flower
vase with fresh flowers in each faculty room and office to be
placed daily.
-
To
wash and clean the tea tables and tea serving areas after the
tea-break is over during the working day.
-
Interested
persons may visit the office of the ATI on any working day
between 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and contact the Caretaker/
Administrative Officer.
-
The
selected
pa
rty will have to ensure that the work at the ATI is carried out
by a group of properly trained and disciplined workers.
The
pa
rty must ensure availability of
at least 10 (ten) persons and 1 (one) supervisor all the time on
working days during the office hours to attend urgent calls for
cleaning. Out of these 10(ten) persons, 3(three) persons
will have to be engaged exclusively for cleaning the hostel
rooms along with ATI hostel sweeping staff.

The
pa
rty should quote their rate on monthly basis for the above work.
Consolidated rate should be quoted for the three buildings
i.e. Main Office Building,
Library
Building & Executive
Wing
Building
along with break up of rates for each building.
-
Only
those who are ca
pa
ble of providing the above services should quote their rates.
-
The
party should submit credentials in respect of similar
housekeeping works.
-
Any
deviation from the provisions mentioned above will be subject to
deduction of proportionate amount from the
pa
rty’s bill amount.
-
The
successful
pa
rty will have to deposit refundable security money of Rs. 5000/-
(Rupees Five Thousand) only to be refunded without interest
after satisfactory end of the contract period.

Other
things being equal, preference will be given to the
pa
rty with good track record in the field for which he must
produce evidence.

The
sealed cover should be superscribed “Tender
for Cleaning Arrangement”
-
Non-sealed
tender will be summarily rejected.
-
The
sealed quotation must be sent to the office of the ATI,
West Bengal
and dropped in the Tender Box at the ground floor of the main
office. The tender papers will be received upto 03/03/10
3.00 p.m. & will be opened on the same date at 4:00 p.m.
